The location was beautiful. You felt like you were in the middle of the jungle and we’re living in a treehouse. The bed was comfortable. The room was well appointed. Everything worked properly. The complementary breakfast every morning was wonderful. We even saw monkeys who visited our Balcony, which was amazing. The location to Xcaret parks is wonderful but, most importantly, the staff exceeded all my expectations. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating and helpful and really kept the place beautiful.

This was probably the best hotel room I've ever been in!! The mecca of home away stays from home, very comfortable, amazing staff, and the coolest monkeys, fantastic food options. We loved it and we are planning to come back! This was the first time we visited Xcaret and it was such an amazing experience we can't wait to experience more of it!! Special thanks to Nemesio, Fanny and George for taking good care of us, and for Fernando keeping us safe and comfortable at night ❤️❤️🙏🫡

What an amazing hotel! Close to Playa del Carmen, but still surrounded by jungle. It's only a 15 minute walk from Xcaret park, and they can help you book the tickets. The staf speaks excellent English and are extremely friendly. They gave us a lot of tips and even bananas to feed the monkeys! Breakfast is okay, dinner is good. They don't offer a lot of traditional Mexican dishes, but as we were travelling for 3 weeks already we didn't mind the international kitchen.

The stay at Casa tortugas had truly exceeded my expectation in various aspects. This boutique hotel is located right outside of the Xcaret Park. The driving time from this hotel to the park is around 5 minutes. My room was spacious and well decorated. All staffs were attentative and showed hospitality, friendliness, and care. We had chances to spot wild spider monkeys and even feed the monkeys with bananas provided by the hotel, which is the highlight of our stay.

On top of that, the monkeys that visited the hotel grounds daily were the highlight of the stay! We could feed them on the ground floor as well as in our own balcony. The hotel was half an hour away from Xel-Ha park and is also extremely close to Xcaret parks Xplor and Xenses.
